Our Story

Gage's family has been raising beef for generations. In 2020, we saw a need to simplify the supply chain and bring beef directly from the ranch to your table. We believe Americans have a right to know how and where their food was raised and should have security in their food supply. We also started to see a reemerging desire of people to connect with their food source. And so the idea of The People’s Beef was born. In 2022, we decided to help close the gap and begin offering our beef directly to you.

The People's Beef is managed solely by our small family. We understand you have a choice in your food supply, and we appreciate your support of our family business. Every purchase helps us to continue raising quality, nutrient-dense American beef.

The People's Beef Promise

We believe Americans have a right to know how and where their food was raised and to have security in their food supply. We are proud to offer American, ranch raised beef directly from our family to yours. Our beef has been grain finished for around 180 days and aged for 21 days. No antibiotics or growth hormones have been administered. Cattle are fed non-GMO feed primarily grown right here on the ranch.

Shipping & Local Pickup

We ship every other Monday with UPS. Please check the top of our website for our next shipping date. You have the option for UPS Ground, 2 Day Air, or Next Day Air. If ground will take longer than two days, an air shipment option must be selected. All beef is shipped frozen in an insulated box with dry ice.

We also offer local pickup at the ranch. Once we have fulfilled your order, we will reach out to you to schedule pickup. If you would prefer to pay cash at pickup, you may email your order to laura@thepeoplesbeef.com.

We occasionally will do a beef drop in select towns. Please join our Friends & Family List to stay up to date!

Beef shares must also currently be picked up at the ranch or directly with the processor.
